Pink Flamingo (Cocktail)

Yield: 2 servings
Source: Memories of a Cuban Kitchen (cookbook)
Amy's Comments: We made this drink for "Cuban Night" for our cooking club and it was a huge hit!! If you have a huge crowd and want to use a regular bottle of champagne (750ml), use 2 cups guava nectar, the bottle of champagne, and the juice of 1 lime. Stir in a pitcher and serve. Delish! Also, you can most likely find guava nectar in the hispanic section of your grocery store! For another way to use it, check out the Havana Sunset Cocktails.

4 ounces guava nectar
Split (7 ounces) dry champagne
splash of fresh lime juice
Ice cubes
Thin slices of lime for garnish

  1. Combine the nectar, champagne, and lime juice. Pour into two tall glasses over ice and garnish with the lime slices.
