Kiwi-Lime Sorbet

Amy's Comments: This froze like a ROCK and ended up almost being like an italian ice. VERY tart and refreshing!


4 kiwi fruit - peeled and quartered
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
6 oz limeade, frozen concentrate


  1. Process kiwi, sugar, and 1/4 cup of the water in a food processort or a blender until smooth.
  2. Combine 1/2 cup of water and the frozen limeade in a medium bowl; stir until slushy.
  3. Stir in remaining 1 1/4 cups water and kiwi puree.
  4. Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Pack into a freezer container, cover tightly and freeze for up to one month. Makes 1 quart.
