Fajita Marinade

Yield: enough marinade to coat 1 lb flank steak and 2 peppers/2 onions

Amy's Comments: No oil, which makes this very WW friendly and YUMMY! I sliced a green pepper and an orange pepper and two medium onions. Marinated those in one ziplock with half of this sauce and used the other on a pound of flank steak. YUM!

INGREDIENTS:

4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup fresh cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Let beef marinade in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (and if you are using chicken, marinate for at least 2 hours.)
  3. Grill over charcoal for best results but it is also good in the broiler or on the stove in a grill pan.
